Candidates of Paper-1 in class 9 and 10, while in Paper-2, successful candidates are entitled to become teachers in class 11th and 12th. After completion of the appointment of the sixth phase, all 24599 successful candidates are scheduled to be appointed under the seventh phase of planning. Mr. Chaudhary said that this achievement is special for Bihar Board and Department of Education, because in Corona period, results of 1.78 lakh candidates have been successfully released by taking online examination. The result of the court intervention stopped the publication of the result. We have seen the lack of teachers in the state disrupting studies, Giving permission to the court by giving information of eligible youth to remain unemployed and vacant posts. The result could be released after a special effort. Said that with the result of 24599 people, the promise of giving employment to the youth by the state government has started to be turned into reality. STET was taken for 37440 posts. The Education Minister said that in an atmosphere of doubt, online examination is the only option.

Priority of one and a quarter million jobs, court will consider five

Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that we are not able to appoint 94 thousand primary and 30 thousand secondary-higher secondary teachers. This is included in our priority. The case is pending in court. We want to tell the people and candidates of the state that we are engaged in it. The government and the department do not like that qualified candidates wander on the road after taking the exam. We have filed an IA in the court. Taking cognizance, the Hon’ble Judges have decided to consider it on 5 April. Everything was favorable and if allowed, one and a quarter million teachers will be reinstated. Some students of our state are getting upset. They would say that if you have so much patience, then keep it for a few more days.

Bihar Board has released the results of 12 out of 15 subjects of STET 2019, in which 24,599 candidates have passed. A total of 1.78 lakh candidates had participated in this examination. On the proviso of the release of STET result, the Education Minister said, ‘This will be the appointment of the 7th phase. It was a big challenge to take the exam in Corona. The candidates who have passed these exams have qualified to participate in the process of appointment of 37,335 teachers.

After the STET result, the process of resumption of 37,335 teachers in the secondary and higher secondary schools of Bihar will begin. There are 25,270 posts for secondary and 12065 posts for higher secondary teachers. Seven years later, due to STET, the age limit was also relaxed.

Patna High Court had given the order to release the result on 4 March:
The notification of STET 2019 was released in September 2019. Its offline exam was held on 28 January 2020. In this exam, out of syllabus questions were created at four centers. Uproar students had filed a petition in the High Court. Meanwhile, the examination was canceled after Aniyamita was found. The Bihar board then took the online exam in September 2020. In this, some students had filed a petition alleging out of syllabus. The High Court then stayed the release of the result on 26 November 2020. Hearing on March 4, the High Court upheld the online examination and ordered the result to be released.
